​American Racing, established in 1956 by drag racing pioneer Romeo Palamides, has become a prominent name in the automotive wheel industry. The company initially gained recognition by producing cutting-edge magnesium aftermarket wheels during America's formative racing years.


A significant milestone in American Racing's history is the development of the Torq Thrust wheel in 1963.
